my local tokyo mart was closed so i had nowhere to source my instant packed ramen.
SO TODAY; I thought i would try this new concept of fresh (you may have heard of it) food.
basically it involves me cooking from scratch, things of which, by the way, i have no idea to cook.
Honestly, it looks easy...
i mean it cant get much easier than instant miso soup (which btw call-chan you will find most supermarket packets are vegetarian anyway... :D), ramen noodles (anyone can cook noodles) and fried tofu (THATS RIGHT YOU HEARD ME TOFU! <3).
I am so happy to be back in Sydney! i've missed my tokyo mart and food supplies, sadly my country-hick-town "supermarket" hasn't heard of the term 'asian foods', thus leaving me high and dry for 5 days, just hanging out for any form of noodle that resembled ramen.....(as you can guess i went with the staple that every convieance store has) and that is Shin Ramyun... (you know the extremely-spicey-even-if-you-only-had-a-1/4-of-the-packet-ramen) which is fine if you're into the hot and spicy, unfortunately I'm not...
Despite my inconvieant-convieance store, i did have a wonderful Xmas!
I was able to swing by the local thai and pick up some fabulous fried tofu (which was to die for!!!), see all of my much missed friends and hang out in the bowling club while grinspoon played (I ran into too many ex teachers... :/)...
